We are learning all about the process of "Apostille" authenticated documents (birth cert. and marriage license). Turns out that some countries (the ones who've agreed to this process- The Netherlands being one of them) require that documents be 'apostilled' before they will accept them as authentic. Today Lacey pup wanted to spend all day outside. It is freaking cold out now and when the temperature drops below 20 degrees F, my hands stop functioning, and my mouth stops being able to form any words other than "AAAAA" or "RRRR", which unfortunately the puppy interprets as "PLAY! Today we leave for my in-laws in St. Louis. Tonight we will stay at my parents on the way in Ohio. Amazingly, it is exactly on the way, and enables a really nice quick Christmas with my folks. We got a puppy. Her name is Lacey Doodle. She is half golden retriever and half poodle. That makes her a golden doodle. I am totally smitten.
