Tripping
Today we leave for my in-laws in St. Louis. Tonight we will stay at my parents on the way in Ohio. Amazingly, it is exactly on the way, and enables a really nice quick Christmas with my folks. I'm anxious to see how our puppy handles the car ride. Unfortunately, this morning she had a little bit of diarrea, and I'm not sure why. Maybe it is from our training class the night before last, but that seems like a long time in between eating and a pooping problem. The trainer gave her hot dogs and cheese, two things that she hasn't had at all yet, so I thought she might have a problem with it. Also, she spent that day with my friend Jenny's dog, Buster, and her two kids who like to leave lots of small things on the floor that look like treats. Yesterday was a pretty normal day, a new bone to chew on, but otherwise nothing that would cause intestinal distress. Poor puppy.
We leave at 2pmish today. How exciting! I still need to pack, go to a dentist appointment, and wear out Lacey with a long walk.
