Still. It wasn't as though he had much of a choice. He wanted that bucket of bolts out of commission as soon as possible, and if Judas went down with him, Linkara would have no problem with it.
And so he waited. He wasn't going to wait for very long.

And if she was looking a good deal more serious then usual as she made her appearance in the hotel's lobby, well, it wasn't like she didn't have good reason to.

It writhed and ached and snarled in its desire, its overwhelming lust to--to just go. It wanted out. Needed out.
And its time was here. Bloodshot and bulging eyes were set out the window. There, said its captor. There was its feast. There was just the start. All it had to do. Was go, and take, and oh how it would relish the moment. Its breath had gone quick as it thought of it, of ripping through those small, little bags of ( ... )

He assumed that it wasn't far now, nearing a small cluster of apartment complexes. But suddenly a crash brought his attention to the sky, where a figure on one of the upper floors of a nearby building was suddenly falling to the ground. His senses alerted him to something, and reflexively he grabbed the two girls closest to him by the backs of their shirts and pulled them to cover just as the barrage of bullets just barely missed them.
Behind the cover of the wall, he dared a peek at their attacker. Squinting his eyes, he suddenly paled behind the mask at the hulking muscular figure that must have been at least three feet taller than he was. And much, much more heavily armed.
That...just have been Franky ( ... )

Not that she'd have time to dwell on it when she heard the crash from up above and turned just in time to see a giant man glaring down at them.
"Oh...." And just as suddenly she was being yanked back behind cover, an instant before the hail of gunfire tore into the ground where she'd been standing. Cursing, she ducked back behind the wall, edging as close to the corner as she dared. "Well.... I guess we found Linkara's friend."

"He doesn't seem very friendly. Then again, neither do I." She said quietly, stepping back from the others.
Her shoulders jerked and shuddered, her arms twitching slightly as her skin turned a deep emerald green, her hair growing into a long thatch of forest green curls. Standing in Jennifer's place was the seven foot Amazon, who walked over and picked up a piece of rebar that had come out of the building when Franky appeared.
"So...I'm kinda pissed off today. Don't get in my way." She-Hulk said with a fierce smile.

But she wasn't about to back down. She was a Keyblade Master, and that meant moving forward even when you didn't know what might lie in front of you, and no matter how things might look.

Frostmourne in hand and by her side, she leapt from the window, landing easily in front of Aqua. Taking only a second to let the shock from the landing pass, she stood, giving the girl a wicked stare as she raised her sword.

A brief moment of concentration later, Brightcrest appeared in Aqua's hand. She wasn't about to back down from the fight, and if he opponent had hoped the sight of that sword would scare her, then she had best think again.

She readied herself in a stable fighting stance, Frostmourne at the ready, and with her free hand she beckoned Aqua to come at her. But she was not so cocky as to let her guard down; she was not going to forget Mechakara's warning, especially with that bump on the head still fresh in her memory.

It was time to go.
The group of black court vampires dropped down from above, fangs bared, effectively cutting three of the group off from their compatriots. It was dinnertime, after all, and they were hungry.

But not for long, if he could help it. He had certainly had enough of these things interfering with more important matters. Eraqus focused his strength and summoned his Keyblade. The moment it was in his hand, he charged at their foes, ready for any fight they would give.

Still, he could help but stare for a moment at the sight of the man summoning a Keyblade. He'd thought that only Sora and Roxas could manage those. But there wasn't time to dwell on that. They had vampires to deal with. A moment of concentration brought his own weapons to hand, and he sent one of the pair at the nearest vampire. Time to get down to business.

He concentrated on the vampire closest to him, charging forward and slashing hard at its midsection. While it was still reeling, he pulled back and jabbed at it with a hard sonic blade-like move. The Keyblade hit it with enough force to knock it to the ground. Eraqus figured it wouldn't be down that easily, however.

It was time to finish things.
"Mechakara!" Gun in hand, Linkara glanced around the street that was rapidly becoming a battlefield; just because the robot hadn't shown itself yet didn't mean it wasn't going to happen. "You're through!"

As usual though, Terra was quiet. He wasn't much for witty dialogue exchange.

But that didn't mean he intended to leave everything to Franky. The robot turned to leave, and by the time he heard Linkara's challenge he was already on the ground floor of the apartment building. He stepped out into the street, a smug smirk on his face. "Don't be so sure," he replied, gesturing towards where Franky was generally causing a whirlwind of destruction and chaos. "You are not the only one with help this time." Those humans nearby were going to die; Linkara should know what he'd gotten them into.

There was no turning back now.
