Linkara waited by the doors of the Blackstone, keeping an eye out for the people he knew to be coming. He had strong friends here - that much was obvious. He was fairly certain that would be more than enough, but...this was Mechakara they were dealing with, and Judas Liz, and Franky - who knew what they had done to Franky - which meant there would likely be surprises, and not necessarily good ones.

Still. It wasn't as though he had much of a choice. He wanted that bucket of bolts out of commission as soon as possible, and if Judas went down with him, Linkara would have no problem with it.

And so he waited. He wasn't going to wait for very long.

He would not have to wait long. Jennifer arrived, wearing just a pair of jeans over her body suit, glasses already abandoned somewhere. She approached him quietly, making just enough noise to get noticed. But she was still beyond mustering a smile.

"Hey."

The Ninja-Style Dancer was the second to arrive, as he had gone ahead of Harvey Finevoice, not needing much time to prepare. He was as silent as ever entering the lobby, nodding to Linkara as they made eye contact.

Try as she might, Aqua couldn't help but be reminded of the last time she and her friends had stood together against a doe they had little chance of winning against. But that had been before. The past didn't need to repeat itself (and hopefully wouldn't).

And if she was looking a good deal more serious then usual as she made her appearance in the hotel's lobby, well, it wasn't like she didn't have good reason to.

Eraqus was not far behind. He knew this would be dangerous, but he was concerned for his students, as well as for Linkara and all others caught up in this. In this situation, as with most in this world, there would be strength in numbers.

He noticed several already here, including Aqua, and knew there'd be more. This gave him a bit of faith that this mission would be a successful one...they certainly needed one.

Standing off to the side with his arms crossed, Terra waited for the small party to gather together. He felt impatient but he knew that the would need the help. As far as he could tell their opponents were very skilled fighters and it would take skill and strength to bring them down as well.

He glanced at Linkara. Once again this was his show and Terra would follow his friend's requests in as far as they made sense to. Terra hoped they were ready for this. He knew Linkara had been through a lot thanks to Mechakara and it was about time they brought him down.

Vin arrived moments after the others, barely making a sound as she walked into the lobby with that strange almost alien grace and silence that came with burning pewter. She wore her coat and her two daggers at her side and carried several extra metal vials in pouches and pockets to replace the ones already burning in her stomach if they ran low.

She stood a little off to the side, glancing around the group and gave Linkara a brief nod.

Axel hadn't said anything about whether or not he was going to come. What would he have said in the first place? There were only so many iterations of 'all be there,' after all and besides, why would he have even bothered in the first place? Secrecy was a hard habit to get out of.

Still there was no mistaking the swirl of darkness at the back of the crowd, much less the person who stepped out of it. For all appearances, it might even have looked like he'd just happened upon the gathering, had it not been for the slight nod he gave Linkara as the portal slid shut behind him.

Harvey arrived a little later than his ninja roommate, having stopped to replace the ammo spent on those vampire spooks from before. Hopefully they wouldn't run into any more of those creeps out here.

Silently, he moved over to stand with the ninja, glancing over the other people assembled as he did so. It looked like the kid'd made quite a few friends here. Good; they could use the backup.

A few people got greetings - responses to their own - and a few got nods. Axel in particular got a quirked eyebrow - Linkara hadn't been expecting him, but somehow he still wasn't surprised. Either which way, everyone here was his friend in some capacity, ready to help him out when he needed it ( ... )
