Who goes to the theatre nowadays? )

He politely thanked the girl behind the counter who had given him a cup free of charge (he still wasn't sure about all of this 'free of charge' business) and headed out the door. The tea was in a to-go cup so that he could enjoy it as he walked. He sipped at the warm brew as he turned the corner and noticed the people milling around the theater.
"Wonder what's going on," he asked aloud.

She blinked when she spotted the crowd at the theater, briefly wondering if there was a event going on that she didn't hear about. "Dunno." She absently answered the question spoken nearby. "I didn't hear about anything happening recently."

"Psst! Hey!"

It was while he was approaching the hotel that he realized he had a problem. He hadn't gotten the man's name. Brilliant detective. He sighed and called out instead, "Hey? Is the guy who was lost around here? I thought I told you to wait!"

He stuffed his hands in his pockets and began heading towards the man.

He'd wound up near some sort of theater, watching people head inside as some sort of chimes sounded. "Huh," he commented to nobody in particular, "You wouldn't think they'd still be having shows with the city like this." One nonpartisan shrug later, he'd turned to head back to the hotel.

He'd been exploring the city, eventually lured, as people are wont to do, toward the glow of light in midst of the darkness. Franky wandered near to see what the fuss was about, and caught sight of that one guy from the bean wandering back nearby. "Oi, Hat-bro. You hittin' up the theater or somethin'?"

"Hey, Franky." He moved pretty quietly for a big guy. "Not really. Just wondering how they managed to get enough people to put on a show, never mind get an audience." He glanced back at the theater - looked like everyone had gone inside - and turned back to the cyborg. "So, seen any 'evil faeries' or anything lately?" Yes, that sentence came complete with finger quotes. Just because they'd been warned about the fae population of the city didn't mean Linkara was buying it.

He passed the theatre just as the streetlights clicked on, one by one, adding to the glow given off by the neon marquee. Chauvelin stopped, just before the crowd thickened near the front doors, and stared up at the humming, buzzing lights. They were... interesting, he supposed. People rustled around him, but he was distracted for the moment.

He raised an eyebrow, then glanced down at the man's satchel. A servant?
"Are you lost?"

Of course, that plan of action would have worked a whole lot better if his timing hadn't been off. The sun had set before he was halfway back to the hotel, putting him a bit more on edge than usual. In a city like this, the last thing he wanted to be was alone in the dark.
Well, at least the "alone" thing wasn't going to happen. He caught the faint strains of a tune up ahead of him, finding it to belong to a girl who sounded a lot older than she looked when he caught up to her...and had wings and a tail to boot. Um. Time to be cautious ( ... )

But, just in case, she had one of her smaller knives hidden in her hand, in case she was attacked by anyone on the streets. It was good to be prepared, since she didn't know what was going to be around the next corner...
...like the girl with wings and a tail, and the guy who looked like he had a tornado for hair...

The tiniest of smiles appeared on her face at his words, a look of amusement more than anything else. "Really?" she asked, half-heartedly attempting to look the picture of innocence. A difficult feat for any demon, even if she had been trying. "I'm pretty sure anything out here has more to worry about than I do." For Etna, it was a fact, plain and simple, though a little bit of pride managed to show through.
"Oh, and the other person here can go ahead and come out too."
