week four

There's only one thing for Chicago to do, and that's to move to a better neighborhood.

As the weeks continue, it becomes clear that although the population of Chicago is drastically reduced, it is by no means a safe place. From the appearance of the wolf belts in Navy Pier to the attacking of innocent civilians in Chicago's northern Downtown area to phages running loose in an apparently magically-protected building - perhaps Chicago was safer when the gangs and mobsters were running the streets.

But the situation is getting stranger. While more real people are starting to appear in Chicago, the number of mirrored people also continues to rise. Moreover, a handful of the newly arrived civilians have gone missing - in each case, there is always some sign of struggle of sorts. Anyone who lives in the same area may have heard strange sounds during the night, or may have seen strange, shuffling figures in the streets - maybe some of Chicago's citizens couldn't resist the tempting pull of power the wolf belts offered...?
