I am supposed to hand over a few tasks to a new starter, and she has just posponed saying that this week is rather busy and next week would be better.
The comment was "its just one of these weeks".

Little does she realise its more like "one of these years / decades" :)

I've got about 10" of snow down here... ... ... and it is still snowing, likely to continue all day.

I guess I don't have to go to work today.

While driving on the slip road joining the M25 to the M40 I was overtaken by a beamer on my right. My speed was 60mph (very wet roads) and he was probably driving about 70, maybe 75mph ( Read more... )
