I don't work in IT, how come I have 2 desktops, 1 laptop and admin access to various parts of our ERP and MIS systems?

I have noticed in the past how useless the TV licensing agency is with updating their records and their need to post me junk mail about not having a license on a fortnightly basis. When I say junk mail i'm actually wondering if this is harrasment rather than Junk Mail ( Read more... )

4 hours to get to work... of course by the time i get there all hell has broken loose because the integration of one of our sites onto our ERP system has caused a .... "few minor incidents".

That was yesterday.

Today things are still not right, and did I mention its month end?

Maybe some music would help :)

I am starting to dream about accountancy stuff. Either this means I am starting to do the right amount of work / revision on it, or I am going bonkers. Either which way, i'd rather dream about other stuff.

Got a new boss.

Intelligent, well respected, young ish, good knowledge base, nice guy, good at finishing stuff, seeing and kicking off stuff, team favourite of initial suggestions. What more could you want?
