Weekend Potpourri

Spoiler Free: Saw Pirate of the Caribbean 2 on the weekend. It was good fun, but two caveats I pass along to you: (1) There's some scary stuff in there that is not suitable, in my opinion, for small children, and (2) it needs a big "To Be Continued" sign at the end. If you go to this flick expecting to see a complete, finished story, you're going ( Read more... )

Yeah I was a bit unhappy about that one too.... by the way, who is that guy who showed up at the end? Do I need to see the first movie to be introduced to him?

Yep. Say no more about that here, though... I wish retain my "spoiler-free" rating. ;-)

Yes, you'd think you'd throw that particular pair of underwear out. And while you're at it, maybe the pair where the entire ass area of the undies are missing, too.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. You do have a nice ass. ;-)

...I said I would embarass myself. I don't need any assistance in that arena, thanks very much.

Also, that was way more information than anyone else needed (or wanted) to know.

Are you sure? 'Cause I have pictures. We could let them decide for themselves. Ooh, I think I'll make an entry in my journal right now, with a poll included and everything!

I'd turf those undies. Seriously; you could get a new pair for less that $5. Is it really worth all that pain to save $5?!

It's not about the money; it's never about the money. I just happen to be absolutely terrible at throwing clothing away. I will continue to wear clothing that I dislike, or that is literally falling to bits, until my wife actually takes said article of clothing away from me and disposes of it.

Maybe you need to take up patchwork... That way you can keep a piece of your clothing, while throwing out the part with holes in it.

(or, you could stitch the button hole a little smaller - just a couple of mm at the top and bottom of the hole - and your button wouldn't pop!)
