fresne's thoughtful post on Palin and feminism inspired me to make a wallpaper to commemorate 9/11. Of course I couldn't leave it alone, so here's a slight variation, with more yellow cabs.

I don't know if it's considered disrespectful to do art for 9/11 but I can't see why not. I wrote a poem the week after 9/11 happened. But poetry isn't my strong suit, so I'll stick to PhotoShop and let more eloquent people speak.
