It's Presidents' Day...which is a holiday.

But it's definitely still a Monday. 

So, I'm reading the article about the service and burial for LAPD officer Randall Simmons. For those of you not in the City of Angels, this was a sickening tragedy.  Psycho gang-boy holes up in house and kills his brother and father, then shoots two S.W.A.T. officers, wounding one of them fatally.
