We just snuck out to see Wanted. Happygeek has really wanted to watch it. He enjoyed it, which makes one of us... I guess the thing is for me, is that it is being compared to the Matrix, plus I have a very good understanding of mythology and the quest for self. Something that I was not prepared to deal with in teaching... when a student dies. I have had the fortune not to know the student, but the death affects everyone in the school. the flu
Still important to get the flu vaccine... but apparently this year they incorrectly predicted which flu strain would be the primary problem this year. Usually the flu vaccine protects against 70%-90% of flu strains. This year it is only 40%. It was bound to happen, but still sucks. Leave a comment 1Count down to school
Littlegeek has been home this week and last. He is mostly just playing his new Star Wars Lego video game. I must say that it is abit sick, in a twisted and demented way. A child's capacity to alter their moods is amazing. Every morning LittleGeek pleads with me not to make him go to camp. Once he is there he loves it and has a great time.
