no particular reason: it's May, it's sunny (but we're unlikely to have a hosepipe ban) I've got a beautiful family and I managed to unblock the drains this morning.

Sorry, no pics, but Luminox rocked! It was really magical, and the crowd were all so nice (I was in two minds about taking the buggy, not the ergobaby, but people didn't seem to mind their ankles being attacked). It was so clever and, like narenek, I was trying to think of ways of recreating a small part in the back garden.

On more than one occasion when I was an undergraduate, I got cross with people saying how much nicer Oxford is without the students. Now the boot is on the other foot, and I have to say I agree with them. The very best times in Oxford are 9th and 10th weeks, when the students have gone home, and before the language schools start up ( Read more... )
