I'm getting back to work on Ashes of an Empire and Mikara Falling, not sure which one first, but getting the next draft of these out, already polished and better rounded, is my only goal currently.

I got my laptop all set up this morning, and wrote some as well. I've got Microsoft Office and Celtx on there. I need to put AIM on there, so I can video chat with a few of my friends. Yes, I have a webcam. All fear the webcam. *dies laughing*

UPS delivered my new laptop just a few moments ago. It's an Acer Aspire-One Ultra Thin 10.1 inch Netbook. In a cinnamon red. It's amazing. And just a little over two pounds, so super portable too. My back is no longer going to die when I go to school. Whoo-hoo! I set up Windows XP already, and have it charging right now. Tomorrow I'm going ( Read more... )

So, officially, I am behind. As you can see from the graph below, I am no longer ahead of pace. I have work tonight and am trying to get a new laptop which is less stressful on my back, to use for school and whatnot. I am going to see if I can find one in town to try out the keyboard, and then will promptly order it online to my exact specs.

Today, I was a slacker. I've written... one paragraph in my WriMo today. It's not a very long paragraph either. I need to find some inspiration, and fast. I think tonight I am going to play Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Amn for an hour at most, then crashing early. I've been tired all day, so I really need the rest, give my brain a break.

Good gawd this last chapter of Savior Falling was long. *falls over* It came out at over 6k, which, while short on the standards of Mikara Falling, is long compared to just about everything else I do chapter-wise.

Sooooo, here is how I am doing at the moment.
