I have to win this year. I have real money riding on it.

I'm a rebel, and am working on two already-begun novellas, with any slop going to other projects.

"Songs for guitar and French harp" is a dieselpunk furry piece, currently counted at 2034/20,000 words.

The untitled masquerade piece, with space pirates, is at 8622/20,000 words.

While I didn't do my full word count each day, I did power through a good bit of the novel AND -- most importantly -- I've gotten back in the habit of opening the Word Document before twitter//lj/facebook/mahjong and various other time sucks. I would have liked to have had more words, but I'm happy that I'm re-programing back to writing.
