Almost two years ago I saw these rugs in a catalog and a few days later saw a dark red one in a magazine furled out along side a very comfy looking bed. The thought of getting out of bed and planting my bare feet onto one of these was delicious!

we have a HUUUUGE old closet that i actually emptied today, sort've on a whim, & sort've because i want to do something quirky with it. it's four feet wide & at least four feet deep, has a light with the old-timey pull-cord, & an electrical outlet! why would a closet have an electrical outlet? either way, my roommate & i thought that maybe we ( Read more... )

We have too many doors and are blocking some off with large, heavy things like wardrobes. One of these doors is only blocked on one side. I was suggesting putting a funky poster on the back of the wardrobe, so we could open the door from the other side from time to time and see it, when my husband opened it and said "hold on--this is storage space ( Read more... )

My husband and I just closed on a condo (and by the way, woo hoo! we're homeowners, we're homeowners!!!). The one problem with the layout, which we otherwise love, is the lack of closet space. It has one and a half closets, of which only the one can actually have clothes hung in it, as marked in blue in the floorplan below:
