2006 has been a very difficult year for me. It was a year filled with pain on several levels. My grandparents passed away. I was sick and in and out of the hospital quite a bit this year. Yesterday was fun. My cousin Jesse came up from Minneapolis. We went out for an early dinner. It was good to see him. I guess we’re more like brothers than cousins. I had a great thanksgiving. We went to my aunt’s house this year. It was great to see every one. I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to make it. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Today is my 30th birthday! It doesn’t feel that much different than 29 lol. I’m going out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate. I'm looking forward to that. Well I either have the flu or a bad case of food poisoning. Just waiting for my friend to drop by so I can go back to bed. Hopefully after 1 more day of rest it'll be gone.

Well the election is over and I’m blown away. I’ve gotten so used to disappointment. So this is a refreshing change. Amy Klobuchar, the democratic candidate for senate here in Minnesota won last night. Unfortunately, Tim Pawlenty narrowly won reelection.
