* I got a new roommate! She doesn't move in until November, which has it's pros and cons. I *can* afford to pay two months rent by myself, but it stinks, and I've dipped pretty deep into my savings. So glad to hear you found a roommate. (Pssst. Do as you said and post pictures of your redesigned apartment. I particularly want to see your couch. I have serious couch envy!)
HIMYM is great. I was most amused by Lily and her excitement at her stripper doppelganger. As for Community, I kind of agree with you. I don't find it all that funny. But I have a mad crush on Joel McHale, so I am torn.
