This evening I was walking to the Metro. For the past few days, there's been various displays by the escalators of pictures/prints of Obama. I was eying them this evening - they all had various phrases on them, and I was trying to read them all. And RIGHT when I passed them and got to see what they said, the theme from The West Wing came on my iPod

I totes agree about your Wally Lamb preferences. I loved the ending of She's Come Undone, but it took me forever to read. And I Know This Much Is True is just a masterpiece. I need to read that again at some point.

It didn't take me too long to finish She's Come Undone, considering the length. And I DID like it a lot, but it is clearly inferior to She's Come Undone, which is (bold statement ahead) the best book I've ever read.

he has a new one coming out this month - I think it's called The Hour I First Believed.
