Haircut Day!

First Haircut
We decided that 18 months would be a good age for Asher to get his first proper haircut. I say "proper" because the truth is, I've trimmed his bangs so he could see twice. But this was the big haircut. The one where you save the hair in a little Ziploc (my, I use these a lot!) baggie for who knows what purpose.

brava! They went from babies to boys- well I guess Asher did, and Lucas went from little boy to big boy. Amazing what a haircut can do. They look great! Nice job!

Thank you! I have always cut Lucas's hair, except once or twice. For the last several years, though, he has wanted it long, so I've only given trims. I felt scared and out of practice. Also, I was scared that Asher's straight hair would show all the flaws of my amateur barbering skills. But, I think they both turned out OK.

Thank you. Really, I've got a penny-pinching streak. Who wants to pay for regular haircuts for two boys! Not me. I want to save all those pennies for my salon cuts!
