Definitely Georgia.  My dad's name was George and I'm an only child (and a girl) so no Jr. or anything like that.  Aw, now I wish my name was Georgia!

Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of the Twin Towers terrorism attack.  I remember that day like it was yesterday - so sad.  Thank you to all the men and women who have fought, still fight and are ready to fight for our country.  God Bless the USA.

Well, they did it - I now have a 3rd grader and a 7th grader.  Both had a great day at school and are looking forward to the next 179.  NOT.  But they are looking forward to going back tomorrow... they had a good time.  My oldest really likes Spanish and he said he found all sorts of ways to get to his classes so everything is good for the newbie. 

Two weekends in a row I have been at my cousin's pool and this is the second weekend in a row I've had a sore throat.  Can you be allergic to pools?  For the sake of my sanity, I sure hope not!

Well, everything is stored quite nicely in the attic and we know exactly what is up there thanks to moi.

Yep, we're emptying out the storage unit today.  Since the house is off the market, we are bringing back every thing to the house.  Saves us some cash every month.  So, now the problem is - where do we put it all?  Wish me luck!

I realize the title may be misleading so let me explain...  Our department goes out to lunch every time we hit $100,000 collected for our members which means we go out approximately once per quarter which isn't bad.  Today is my first $100,000 lunch and since I was not here for the whole collection time frame, the woman I replaced is joining us!  ( Read more... )
