Yes, it did bite! He admitted it was kind of stupid but it's in the past and that girl is gone from his work so time to move on.

I'm moving on... if I dwell, I'll go crazy. I'm already feeling better about it and it was about a month ago. Sounds crazy but we're actually closer now. Being able to let go is usually not one of my strong suits so I'm impressed with myself. I confronted him, he apologized, I cried - done.

Thankfully, he did not make me feel as though I had done anything wrong. I told him flat out that because of the comments he had dropped, I looked just to make sure. He didn't deny it which was good too.

I'm really sorry your experience was so rotten. You are right about that - love is a funny thing!
