first cool landmark of Camp Nanowrimo:
I've reached 10,000 words in my Camp Nanowrimo adventure. My goal, of course, is to attempt the 50 k. and if I keep up the good work, it might just be a thing that happens. i'm starting to regret accepting the job at the Leo and quitting the temp assignment I had. We had a 'team meeting' on Tuesday night and I saw just how many people have been hired within the past weeks and month/or so to help with the Mummies Exhibit. After not submitting anything to Writers Group for a while, I'm finally submitting something thanks to the fact that my writer-ness has been challenged. It is probably the last piece I imagined myself submitting, mainly because it's a little weird and I'm not sure how I'll respond to critiques and I'm not sure what I want to do with it anyway.... 750 Words turned into a CSI/Supernatural Crossover
Note: After watching much of CSI Season 9, I've become quite convinced that Riley Adams would be absolutely perfect with the boys of Supernatural. Especially given the fact that she does just end up leaving, pretty abruptly (leaving hundreds of open cases, as per the first episode of season 1!). I'm working on the Supernatural/OUaT crossover....though mostly right now it's the boys that are getting the spotlight. I've written 950+ words tonight and have a total of 4,217 words of something that can only be described as meandering prose ( Read more... ) -
Not so fast...
Is it just me and my bad luck or is livejournal the very opposite of "fast"? They claim to be fast, fun, and free, but the only statement I can attest to here, especially when it's being extra slow, is that it's free...
