Note: After watching much of CSI Season 9, I've become quite convinced that Riley Adams would be absolutely perfect with the boys of Supernatural. Especially given the fact that she does just end up leaving, pretty abruptly (leaving hundreds of open cases, as per the first episode of season 1!). So there is absolutely NO reason to see this as

OMG!!! You are my hero!! I've been thinking of doing a CSI/SPN crossover too, but I kinda want Greg to play with the boys and Nick to get all pissy law enforcement about it. I'm not totally sure how I'm going to contextualize it all though (meaning, to slash, or not to slash...) ;)

So here's what happens. Riley goes to work the next night. mentions to greg that she met these two cool guys and they end up hanging out with Sam and Dean after their shift. and thus Greg meets the Winchester brothers and starts flirting setting into motion the events that will end up frustrating Nick :P

YESSSS. I actually kind of want to have Greg and Sam in a did-they or didn't-they scenario where they bond over attending Stanford and maybe even sex it up, or maybe not, and have Dean get all pissy at Sam because they're supposed to be working a job and not shacking up with practically-cops, while Nick gets all pissy with Greg because they're supposed to be working a case and not shacking up with probably-criminals. =P
