Survived the day in spite of flying slates and sheeting bloody rain. Yuck! When ex-Hurricane Gordon passed through last week we were promised stroms like you would not believe. Awwww...how sweet. That's wonderful.

Too bad about the teacher, though. It does seem wrong that they're going to jack up their prices just when their most qualified teacher quits.

Sucks about the teacher though. In DD's world it is the equivalent of Spike getting killed off in the middle of season 4 of BtVS. It's going to have to be broken gently and gradually. Not looking forward to it.
