Having lived in Singapore as long as I did, and with my family still there,  it is a place I am very proud to call a home of sorts.  There are some things about Singapore which make it a  uniquely special place.

I have loved penguins since 3rd grade. They are really quirky and cute in an endearing way. When I heard about the movie March of the Penguins I was really excited. The fact that the religious right has now latched onto the movie, and using it as part of their arsenal in defence of intelligent design disgusts me ( Read more... )
