Sunday was a lovely day.

On Saturday Joe suddenly said "Y'know we should go for Dim-Sum tomorrow." So we went, and my mom and Raoul joined us. We headed to our regular place on Elizabeth Street at Canal: Jing Fong restaurant .

After having my new laptop at home for awhile, Joe and I realized that we now had four computers in the apartment for two people. So we decided to sell my mac mini, which hasnt been used as anything other then storing music in well over a year. (SOB. So there is this weird plant growing in our backyard. I dont know what it is at all. its growing off of a trellis that my landlords have grapes growing on. This thing is not a grape!

WHAT IS THIS THING?! It grew in only 2 weeks!

Soon it will crawl its way through my window and get me in the night.

So today I bought myself a shiny new macbook! I love it, it loves me, it weighs less then ten million pounds, doesnt burn me cause its fans work, and I love it! So in all likelihood i will now update this damn thing because I wont abhor going to my computer!

Yay!

So, it is incredibly dry in my room at all times, and Kait and I have been -suffering-. The internet was searched for homemade humidifier ideas, none were located. So what do we do? We hang a bed sheet from our doorway to the bathroom doorway, and turn the shower on hot for about 45 minutes. It worked really well. But its still up and the roomies ( Read more... )
