Sunday was a lovely day.

On Saturday Joe suddenly said "Y'know we should go for Dim-Sum tomorrow." So we went, and my mom and Raoul joined us. We headed to our regular place on Elizabeth Street at Canal: Jing Fong restaurant .

Usually when we get there there is a MASSIVE amount of people waiting to get in, everyone with a ticket with a number on it, waiting for this lady with the microphone to say "4 small tables, numbers 45, 46, 52 and 14." Then you are allowed to go up the two story escalator to the massive banquet hall, where you park yourself at a table and eat all the delicious things that go by.

When Joe and I got there at 11, there was NO ONE waiting at all. NO ONE. My mom and Raoul were running late. I called and flailed wildly into the phone that they better hurry up and get there because I didnt even need a ticket! People were freely walking up the escalator! UNHEARD OF!

By the time they got there, I had a ticket!

NUMBER ONE! I dont know if I should curse this, or be excited that I was the coveted number one ticket.

Either way when they arrived they waived us right up and we got a four person table! We didnt have to share our table with anyone. Oh man! We had super good food etc. From now on we are going at 11am!

As we were leaving there was the usual huge amount of people packed into the lobby and outside the doors, all with tickets in hand. The lady on the microphone yelled. "Two small tables, number 163, 159. One large table, number 89." Bwahaha. Suckers. I was number one!

Something about my apartment was oddly wonderful last night, it felt so much like home.

I think the new lamp from ikea helps, I love its light more then the lamp we have on the other side of the livingroom. The other lamp has no shade, its one of those ikea lamps that shines right onto the celing. Lamp shades=rule, clearly.

Just outside that door, the freakish plant growth is still growing. So that is the door it will come and get me through. Still no clue as to what it is since my landlords are away for the moment.

Oh and, Joe is at home too, and I like him and stuff.
