Viggo yawned. He could finally put the pen down. Leaning back in the chair, he looked around the room. He felt sad that he wouldn't see the others again, but at the same time was relieved that the term had gone into the last week. He let his eyes stay on Orlando, which still had his head bent over the papers. There probably would be yet some time before Orlando would be finished, he always took his time.
Viggo picked his papers up and as gracefully he could, he went up. When he put the paper on the desk, Professor Sharpe said, "Good luck".
Viggo replied as silently as he could, "Thanks." He went out and shut the door behind himself. In the corridor, people hurried back and forth. He didn't remain until Orlando would come out. He went to the café to sit there instead.
When Orlando came in he had a stern look. He threw his bag on the floor beside the table Viggo was seated at.
"Fuck, I probably screwed up the exam." he exclaimed.
"Why would you think that? You are good." Viggo tried to soothe his lover.
"You know the fifth question… I totally wrote the wrong answer on that one. Just after I went out of the door it hit me what Professor Sharpe wanted. I should have known that at once." Orlando let out his triad and Viggo let him.
"That was only one thing and I'm sure you hit the others. You have been good in this course."
"Maybe… I haven't been good enough." Orlando just went over to the counter.
Back at the table with a mug of coffee, he sank down hard on the opposite chair. Viggo let his lips turn into a smile, when he knew what he would do for get Orlando to relax later. He waited to say anything until Orlando had finished his drink.
"No matter how it went, now we haven't anything more to read so let's get home and reward ourselves." Viggo said and stroke Orlando's hand he had taken a hold on.
"That I would love to do, Love."
