The result of the new tests was not any Viggo had even thought would happen or be possible. When the doctor had told what they showed he had sat there with his chin dropped. He did not want to believe what he heard. Though as the doctor made him to lie down on the examination bed and used an ultrasound he could not deny that there where something that looked like a life inside him.
The experiment that had been done in that basement had been by some decoct to alter the ability for the male to be able to carry and give birth. Among the evidence that had been collected was some animals in different stage of success. The scientist that had been connected to Viggo's case as he had been investigated had tried to see what he been exposed to and what effect it made on him. When he hadn't shown any abnormal they had written it of. Now it was a different question.
Viggo didn't say anything for a very long time. The doctor waited. Viggo had never been the one that missed to breed. He thought Orlando had never come to think he might not become a father one day in the normal way when he been openly gay since he was young. Learning what they had to expect made Viggo speechless. It didn't help that he did not want to be subject of a new experiment. He sort of felt like he was even if it wasn't after his free will.
"Have you any thoughts about what you want to do?" The Doctor asked when it had went all to long of silence.
"I would never want to terminate a life." Viggo started. "Not as long as everything will go well and it not treating my life. But I would not want to be a scientist project and locked in again. Can you see to that?"
The doctor had watched Viggo and knowing the history he could understand his wishing. "I would very much want to promise you could be living normal, but I sadly can't do that. We do not know how this will affect you and how your body will react. We need to keep you under control. When you say that you want to keep it we have to do so as long as it not threatens your life. Though I think we in the best possible way could have you living as normal it can be, but you have to be ready you might need to have to be under close observation, here at the hospital."
Viggo had slumped down some in the chair, it did not sound very promising he would be able to not avoid being a part of any observation.
"You do understand it would be for your best?" The doctor asked.
"I do." Viggo said.
"When everything look good today, I will let you go home and tell your partner. Then we will have a weekly contact as long it goes as ordinary pregnancy had done for a woman."
"I actually have a question. Can you say how along I am?"
