One year later
Viggo was tired, but happy. The last year had been a very hard one. After entering the house, he had fallen very ill. The people that had come to rescue and take the animals he had found in the basement had early realized that things were way more serious.
The animals were used for experiments and the things that had been mixed and boiling seemed to be toxic. Scientists were called in, but none could say what it really was or what consequences it could give.
When they learned Viggo had went down in the basement without any protection they had put him in an isolation room, started to take test on him. Viggo had felt bad, not only from what he had breathed, it was how he got treated. He didn't like to be studied. Of course, it didn't help that he became sick. The scientist stood quiet as the doctors questioned to what his sickness was.
After a few months Viggo didn't show anymore symptoms. All test pointed that he was healthy and normal. He finally got released. First, he had wanted to go back to his work, but it didn't feel right. Instead he decided to find some courses to read and then find another area to work in.
Viggo found a few courses. He then met Orlando, one of the young students that took two of the same courses he did. After a month, Viggo felt drawn to Orlando more than a friend. Never before had he thought he could like a guy, though he could not deny he had as much feelings for him that he ever had had for a woman.
Orlando had never lied about his preference and that he was gay. Viggo gathered his courage and told Orlando of his feelings. They soon become a couple and after two months Orlando had moved in with Viggo.
They had mixed their studies with great sex and really loved their life. Both had shared their earlier life and everything seemed perfect. They had a vacation, as it were in between semesters. They had for the time went to a friends place and spent a lot of time at the beach.
Viggo was lying in the sand, dozing off when he grew tired. They had kept going into half of the night and then he still thought he was tired after the work he spent for passing the exams. One part of him thought it was not normal, when he didn't think he was that old.
Orlando came running and drizzle sand over him, laughing.
"Come on Viggo! Now you can't say you don't need to bathe."
Viggo smiled towards the energetic guy.
"You know fully well that I can not deny you." He caught up with Orlando as they run down to the sea.
