Ugh.
The City was digging to install new gas lines and of course they cut the phone line. I didn't call it in because I heard the guys say their supervisor was going to. The supe is a lazy son of a bitch who NEVER gets out of his truck. He calls other employees to attach and detach trailers and such from his truck. We're in San Antonio, just got back from the Lone Star Indie Bash at the Brewery. Texas Tornados and Bob Schneider tore up the place!
But, as most things go, it ended on a very horrible note. We got back to the hotel and got a call that a kid everyone knew in Quemado was leaving a friends house on his dads motorcycle, came around a curve & hit a cow ( Read more... ) -
Lost kitty found!
While we were doing some moving last weekend, Quackers - who I thought was locked in the bedroom with the other cats - escaped. At first, I figured he was hiding because of all the commotion like his brother was. But as the day & night went on, it became evident he was gone ( Read more... ) -

My new job starts on Wednesday and I am not as ready as I thought I would be. I get tired soo quickly then throw in not being able to sleep at night... blah. I underestimated the fatigue I would be feeling from this surgery ( Read more... ) -

While tired from not getting any real sleep last night, I am feeling sooo much better today. Me & mom did a little shopping today so I could walk around a bit and all is well. We'll be heading back to Border heaven tomorrow ( Read more... ) -
Quick update
Surgery went fine, I'm at my grandparents house resting. Part of foot is numb, leg aching a bit and sore at incision site. Other than that, all is well.
Glad it's over and ready to go home and recover.
