I'm using a customised version of Opal.

My archive page is kind of messed up. I think what I need to do is set the width of the calactitem class in the CSS, but when I do that it messes up the sidebar calendar. It says here that as a perm user I should be able to define a new class for one or the other, so how do I do that?

I'm kinda new here and a complete loser when it comes to layers, plus basic account users cannot change layers, can they? I wanted to create a Opal layout only by css like I did and still do with Smooth Sailing and Flexible Squares etc. But it seems I cannot find a cleaned css for Opal. Can anybody help me?

When there are only a few comments to a post, they all show up, but when there are more than 50 comments on a single post, they are condensed and you have to click the thread link in order to see them. is there a way to suppress the switch? I want comments to always show, even in a long thread.

Hi using Opal for the first time instead of Smooth Sailing. So I have some questions, I got some great response from opal_help earlier but I thought I'd ask here as well.

1) I see this quoted for when you want to tier your tags and scroll. But what if I don't want to tier them? There's a note saying it's a lot of extra work if you just want to do that. So ( Read more... )

I am currently using Opal and was wondering if it is possible to align the userpic to the right for the journal entries, but then to the left in the comments?

I am using the multi-tiered tag list in my sidebar, which I really like. I was wondering though if I could make the tiers to also show up on my separate visible tags page.

Any ideas?

I was bored Friday so I made a tags sidebar for my custom Opal style. It displays a little list of the tags that are on at least one entry you have permission to view, in a similar fashion to the links list, and clicking on them filters the journal by that tag.
