Hi, first time using Opal

Hi using Opal for the first time instead of Smooth Sailing. So I have some questions, I got some great response from opal_help earlier but I thought I'd ask here as well.

1) I see this quoted for when you want to tier your tags and scroll. But what if I don't want to tier them? There's a note saying it's a lot of extra work if you just want to do that. So what's the simple version? I'm soooo confused.

2) Unanswered from before on opal_help...
a: How do I get entries wrapped around the usericon?
b: How would one implement hover effects using the header? I saw a great tutorial on the_lj_reboot HERE but can not figure out how to implement it because I have it so the default navigation bar is not displayed. Right now, it's with an ordinary image map in the DIV ID=HEADERIMG section but I do not have the hover effects implemented, this is what I need help on. I have all of the "double canvases" created, I just need to know where to put the info. I know the position where I need to put them. Perhaps absolute positioning is in order? Just a guess. Please help.

3) I see tutorials for how to get two sidebars, one on each side. I want my tag list to be on the right while everything else is on the left. But as of right now, my tag list is linked with the page summary. How to fix this?

4) Is there a way to differentiate between the main section and a subsection of something in the sidebar? Like for instance right now, I've got some links listed. They have different categories like "Favorite Sites", "Sites I'm Involved With", "Forums", and so forth. I would like the "Links" be bold and underline but "Favorite Sites" and stuff like that to be just italicized for instance. But they seem linked somehow.

Heading to bed but keeping the layout as far as I've gotten up for now so people can see how to best implement answers to my questions. I do have a paid account. Thanks for any help!
