I'm too lazy to complain in detail about the work thing, so here's some food.
It's a good thing I have a project deadline at work tomorrow, or I never would have spent all that time cooking a meal for myself on a weeknight. And since the meal went well and the work was still hanging over my head, I went ahead and made a double batch of a dessert I invented yesterday.
