Chance to Change (7/?)
A/n: rather than my usual 'Sorry for taking so long' (three months long?!! o.O?) I'll cut right to the chase. Hope you still remember what happened from the previous chaps~ ^^
summary: Eri started shooting for the drama with Chinen and Kanata. They've began being friends,even having nicknames for each other~ Just how much closer will they come to be? close enough to kiss?

A moment to kiss (yeah, that was an on impulse title.)
It has been a few weeks since their filming started. They were able to finish most shots indoor so they've began going on location.
"Alright, we'll start the next scene after. Positions everyone." The director called.
Eri, Kanata and Chinen were playing with the bicycle props. They were shooting by the river banks on such a fine weather after all.
Eri love filming outdoors especially that day because they get to ride bicycles like she usually do. Though she does not consider herself an actress just yet, she was catching up well with the others or so they say. She still have to do more retakes compared to her co-stars but they were pretty much tolerant about it, something she's very grateful of. Even when sh'e acting along as the daughter of some of the most prominent actors and actresses, she can't help being more drawn to the world of showbiz.
"Eh? wasn't the next scene still supposed to be..." Eri flipped through her copy of the script while Kanata and Chinen looked over her shoulders, also wondering.
"With you three having fun riding your bikes going home." Director Ishi finished for her. "We're already done with that."
In response to the three's puzzled faces, Director Ishi explained, " We filmed you three while you were playing during your break. Just as they say, Nothing beats natural acting." he chuckled.
"Eh?!"
"Hai?"
"Maji de?"
"Ano, is it really okay to do it that way?" Kanata ventured while the director went to answer a call.
"If the director's okay with it, then it's gotta be okay." the cameraman winked.
"I guess so." Eri reluctantly agreed.
"Alright, next scene, ready!" The director yelled, making everyone scamper into positions.
Eri began to get used to the director's unusual ways in doing his work.
The rest of the filming ended well that day and Eri hurried back home to catch up with her school work before another shoot starts the day after.

Early the next Saturday morning, Azuki, her manager came by to pick Eri up. They arrived at the new site for the filming that day.
Eri was humming a tune while donning her costume for that day. She examined herself once and made a short twirl in front of the mirror. She's wearing a school uniform. A particularly cute one at that. The location for filming that day was at a school.
"Ohayou!" Eri-'s co-stars greeted as she joined them.
"Ohayou gozaimasu." She bowed.
"Uwaah~ You're so cute in that uniform!" Azuki exclaimed, making Eri blush.
"Yeah, it suits you." Chinen added. Kanata smiled in agreement while looking her over.
"Arigatou." Eri toyed with the ribbon on her neck unconsciously. "The two of you look cool as well." She smiled back.
Chinen looked pleased with that comment, rather than being called Cute often, he likes being Cool too.
"Alright, gather up!" a staff called them over and Director Ishi gave instructions for that day's shoot.
"So, like usual, we'll be filming the heavier scenes first then the rest will follow simultaneously. What's important is for us to wrap this up in one day, since we'll only be having this location for today."
"The heavier scenes?" Chinen wondered out loud.
"Yeah, we'll start with the scene at the rooftop." Director Ishi replied. "Prepare yourselves, get make-up retouches while the staff finish setting up over there then follow us after you're done. Let's make use of this cloudy day."
"Yes, Director."
"Nee, Erichan?" Chinen turned to her. They were on their way up, being the first to finish their make-up.
"Hm? nani?" she looked at him quizzically.
"Eto, about this scene..."
"What about it?"
"The ki--ki--kis--kiss. Are you alright with it?"
"Well~" She dragged the L out as she thought about it. "It's not a real kiss. I mean, in fact, there won't be any at all, right?"
"That's right."Kanata chimed in, having caught up with them after his make-up. "It's an 'almost' kiss."
"Yeah, Oniichi will stop us before our lips would meet." That's what she said but thinking about it, makes her more nervous and had been telling herself the same thing to keep her from thinking about the 'just before our lips meet' part.
"Sou yo. Dakara, Yoroshiku ne! Shinichi-kun." Kanata tapped Chinen's shoulders and smiled encouragingly.
"We'll be counting on you." Eri added with more honesty than intended.
When they reached the rooftop, Director Ishi placed them in position, gave a few instructions before yelling, "Action!"
Eri found lesser difficulty in saying her lines following Kanata's lead. She merely recited the words in a way she thought Shizuna would say in response to Koichi's confession.
Then Koichi leaned in for the kiss.
Though Kanata had various acting experience already, he still finds this scene rather uncomfortable, who wouldn't? probably an experienced one or a playboy of some some sort but he's neither. Either way, e can't show that, knowing it would also affect Eri, causing her uneasiness. As the sempai in acting, he felt obliged to support her especially since they've become closer over the weeks.
Closer?
Kanata and Eri's face are growing closer to each other. Too close? Wait, it isn't Eri's face... Chinen?
"NG!" he heard the director yell.
The scene would have finished faster if not for Chinen's NG's. He can't seem to get the right timing in interrupting the supposed kiss.
He'd always step in too early.
Director Ishi repeatedly told him to stop Koichi and Shizuna at a distance where Shinichi could put himself just in-between the two but so far, he had smacked the back of his head,though lightly, to Eri's nose. So in the following take, in order to avoid that, he ended up being accidentally kissed on the forehead by Kanata instead.
Though Chinen likes skinship, hugs, sitting on laps and such, but if his bandmates hear about this, there'd be endless teasing. Also, to keep messing up like this in front of everyone especially her but at least he made her laugh, the smacking aside. He can't help it, to panic when watching Kanata kissing, alright, it's not a real kiss but still... The way Eri reacted, it must be her first, she doesn't seem to be the type of girl who plays around though there're probably lots of guys after her. Does Kanata also think that way?
As her Oniichi, I have to protect her.
For the most part, they laughed it off but everyone was grateful when the director accepted a good take on the 5th try. Also, due to the NG's, their nervousness and tension was lessened with every take.
After lunch break, Eri was in for a surprise when the student extras arrived for the rest of the scenes.
One of them was her cousin, Rina.

A/N: ei! missed me? hmm, I guess not. so here i'll have my proper apology for taking so long for something this short. I know it isn't worth the long hiatus. Hontou ni Sumimasen deshita! My wishful hearts probably forgot about this fic already, even I felt like giving this up too. Sorry for thinking that. Though I already had the ideas, bits of it actually, I couldn't find the right words or motivation to write it. and so I started reading manga, particularly Skip beat and so here I am with my update.
