A/N:  Hontou gomen nasai! for taking this long to update this. Omattase shimashita! Sorry for any errors, please tell me if any.
Flashback: Eri finally agreed and accepted the new project, a drama, and got herself a proper manager. On their cast meeting, she met Chinen again. Chinen's psyched to work with her again. Since Eri entered this world of entertainment, things started to change.
Disclaimer: only the storyline do I own.

for those who want to refresh their memories chaps 1, 2 , 3 ,4 , here.

Chapter Five: Starstruck

Chinen opened the door to the meeting room. He stepped aside to let Eri in.
"We seem to be the first ones in." Chinen remarked, surveying the deserted room.
"Yeah but the place has already been prepared." Eri pointed to the pieces of papers arranged neatly with each seats.
"They're information about the project and the meeting agenda for today." he relayed, scanning one of the paper he picked up.
The two sat side by side as they examined the papers.
"There's also the complete list of the cast here." she noted her eyes moving through the names listed on the paper. She can't believe all the names there, they're all from famous actors and actresses she's only seen on T.V. Am I really going to be acting with these people? She can't help but feel the anxiety rising in her.
The door opened and  startled her. She thought it would be her manager but it was a guy who entered and just like what they did earlier, the guy checked around the room until his gaze landed on the two. They couldn't recognize him at first because of the cap he was wearing. He took it off and greeted them, after closing the door.
"Konnichiwa." he bowed briefly. Eri gasped when she got a better look at him.
"Konnichiwa. Ohizashiburi desu ne." Chinen stood and bowed briefly, greeting him with a smile.
"Chinen-kun, ohizashiburi." he replied.
"Echizen..." Eri uttered also standing wide-eyed in disbelief.
"Hmm?" Chinen turned to her, not understanding what she meant. "Dare?" He looked back to the guy to where Eri's eyes were fixed.
The guy was also surprised at first, he had thought he arrived earlier than planned and didn't expect this. He laughed softly as he realized what the girl meant calling him by that name.
Seeing the guy laugh, Eri realized what she had done and bowed her head. "Ah, gomen nasai."
"Daijoubu. Doumo, Kanata Hongo desu. Yoroshiku Onegai shimasu." Kanata introduce himself smiling at her to assure her that it's fine.
"Yazaki Eri tomoshimasu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu." Eri replied still feeling ambarassed from her outburst.
"Yazaki-san, Hajimemashite. Are you the new actress they're were talking about?" Kanata inquired trying to ease her tension.
"Uhm Hai sou desu. Ano, I'm really sorry for my actions a while ago. I'm a fan of the prince of tennis." Eri explained.
"I kind of figured that out. Don't fret so much about it." Kanata chuckled.
"Ah sou ka. That's right, Kanata-kun, you acted on the live action version of that one right? I remember, it was quite amazing!" Chinen chimed in.
"Arigatou guzaimasu." Kanata touched the back of his head. It was also one of his favorites, being able to live out one of your favorite anime feels great. He excused himself when his phone rang.
"A-ra, by any chance..." he turned to Eri when Kanata took the call, " You're favorite is Ryoma Echizen then?" he didn't have to hear her answer, it showed on her flushed face as she nodded.
She felt embarrassed about being such  anime addict, Chinen however interpreted that with her, crushing over Kanata. It made him feel uneasy with that thought. nande?
Meanwhile, Kanata had ended the call and found his way to his seat.

A few moments passed and Eri's manager caught up. Soon after, the rest of the cast arrived one by one. Eri can't help being awestruck at all the famous people she's seeing. Some of them also eyed Eri closely which made her feel really uncomfortable.
The last to arrive were the director and the producer then the meeting promptly began. They talked about the roles of each character, the shooting sites, and schedules. Aihara explained things to Eri as the meeting proceeded. Chinen also threw in some additional info from time to time.
When the meeting adjourned, the director approached Eri along with the producer.
"So glad to see you again!" Director Ishi shook her hand. By then most of the casts had left except for some staffs who were clearing the place up.
"Arigatou guzaimasu." Eri bowed briefly.
"Yes, yes. I believe I made the right decision the moment I saw the two of you." Director Ishi chuckled shifting his gaze from Eri to Chinen. Both of them blushed from that comment not knowing how to react to it, they just nodded.
Yukimura introduced Eri's manager to the director and they talked for a bit.
"Ja, I'm looking forward to seeing you both on set next week then." Director Ishi stated as he and the producer left.
"Hai. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu." Eri and Chinen bowed.
Director Ishi turned and smiled at them before disappearing out the door.
"Uwaah~ my heart's beating so fast." Eri plopped back on her seat.
"Sou da ne. Even though he said it rather warmly." Chinen agreed breathing out slowly.
"Hmm...maa,maa." Aihara laughed softly at their reaction. "Shall we get going then?"
"Hai." Eri stood.
"Oh, right, I got your training schedule already. Your acting workshop will start tomorrow after school. I'll come pick you up so don't worry." Aihara informed her while they were in the elevator.
"Ah, sou. Arigatou Ai-chan." Eri replied.
"You're going to attend the acting classes?" Chinen inquired.
"Un." Eri nodded. "Nande?"
"Ii ne." Chinen remarked.
The elevator door opened and they stepped out. Chinen bowed before going in the other direction.
"Mata ne Yazaki-san." He waved back.
"Hai, ja mata." Eri bowed and waved as well.

The next day after class, Eri and Rina walked towards the school gate to wait for her manager.
"Do you think Chiyako and Miki-chan will be alright doing our work?" Eri asked Rina uncertainly.
"They'll be fine. They were more than happy to volunteer after hearing us out." Rina replied.
"If you say so. I can't help feeling bad about missing our responsibilities at school." Eri admitted.
"Hmmm... Sou da ne but it's just for a while. We'll make it up after." Rina agreed.
Aihara arrived on time. The two girls greeted her. Eri introduced Rina and Aihara to each other.
"Oh yeah, I saw you in magazines before. You're cuter in person." Aihara complemented Rina.
"Arigatou guzaimasu." Rina blushed and bowed curtly.

"Hmm... Why don't you come to the workshop with Eri-chan. That way, she can feel more at ease. You'll learn something from it too. I'm sure the two of you will have fun together. What do you say?" Aihara proposed.
Eri was delighted to hear it. She was feeling anxious about going to that class alone.
"Eh?" Rina asked, startled. She had planned to only accompany Eri while waiting. Eri was looking at her with pleading eyes.
"Is it really alright for me to tag along?" Rina confirmed. Eri was already smiling triumphantly. Aihara nodded reassuringly. "Alright then."Rina agreed.
"Yatta! Ureshii. arigatou Rina-chan!" Eri hugged her cousin.
The three of them got in the car.
 ~*~*~*~

"Eh! Chinen-kun, you're here too?" Eri asked, wide-eyed at Chinen.
Chinen was already in the practice room when Aihara dropped Eri and Rina off.
"Hai. I haven't been in a drama for quite some time so I wanted to practice again." Chinen explained.
"Ah sou." You could've mentioned that yesterday. "Oh right, this is my cousin Ayuzawa Rina. She's also a teen model in fashion magazines. She's attending the workshop too." Eri introduced. "And this is Yuuri-kun, the one I acted with during the CM and for the upcoming drama." Eri turned to Rina.
"Yuuri Chinen desu. Please to meet you." Chinen bowed and smiled at Rina.

"Ayuzawa Rina tomoshimasu. Kochira koso." Rina bowed as well. She can't help but notice his cute smile, meeting him made her really think of the similarities between him and her cousin. I understand now.
Soon after, the class started.
Eri did have fun doing all the exercises with her cousin and Chinen. She also made some new friends since the objective of that day was still on getting to know each other. Some of the trainees are also mostly newbies like her but she somehow found that hard to believe since they all look above average, some stunning even. Though somehow, for some reason, looking at Chinen, he does shine brighter than anyone else especially with his cheery personality, Eri observed.
I guess a star's really different. Rina also seems to fit in well, some of the trainees recognized her as well.
"Well, see you tomorrow then." Chinen bid them goodbye when the class ended.
"See you." Eri and Rina replied.
"A-re? Was that Chinen-kun?" Aihara inquired when she came to fetch the two.
"Hai." they replied.
"Ii ne... So how did the first class go?" she asked.
"We had lots of fun." Eri replied.
"I'm glad I came." Rina added.
"Yokatta ne. Glad to hear that. Iku?"
The two girls nodded.

The next day Ai-chan fetch them from school like before.
When they arrived, they saw Chinen standing at the doorway with two other guys.
"Ah, here they are." Chinen turned towards them when he saw them coming.
"Konnichiwa." he greeted.
"Konnichiwa." Eri and Rina greeted back.
"I told my friends about my taking classes and they wanted to check it out as well so they tagged along." Chinen explained gesturing for his friends to introduce themselves.
"Nakajima Yuto desu. Yo!" the tallest introduced himself showing his peace sign.
"Morimoto Ryutaro desu. Yoroshiku." Ryutaro bowed.
The two boys were shining as much as Chinen does. Eri can't help being starstruck.
"Yazaki Eri desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu."
"Ayuzawa Rina desu. Hajimemashite."
The two girls bowed briefly.
"Uh, Ryutaro-kun, ohizashiburi." Rina flashed Ryutaro a smile.
"Eh?" everyone besides Ryutaro and Rina exclaimed.
"Ryu-chan, you two know each other?" Chinen asked.
"Hai, remember that special edition magazine photoshoot I had last time? I was working with her that time." Ryutaro explained hastily.
Eri turned to Rina with questioning look. Rina just nodded and smiled.
"Oh..."
"And you must be the one Chi's acting with in the drama." Yuto referred to Eri.
"Hai." Eri nodded.
"Ah, so that's why...you two... no wonder the both of you were so eager in coming for this workshop, you both---" Yuto started but the two other guys shut him up. Ryutaro covered his mouth while Chinen distracted the girls.
"Yu-chan still has somewhere else to go to so he can''t attend the class with us. nee, Yu-chan?" Chinen pulled Yuto away. Yuto looked confused.
"That's right, don't you have that drum practice thing? oh, look at the time." Ryutaro added, his hand still on Yuto's mouth.
Yuto waved goodbye to the girls as his friends took him towards the elevator door.
"What just happened?" Eri asked Rina from the corner of her mouth waving to Yuto.
"No idea." Rina shrugged, also waving.
After getting Yuto inside the elevator and the elevator door closed, Chinen and Ryutaro came back, smiling sheepishly.
"Is Nakajima-kun alright?" Eri asked.
"Yeah. He's fine." Chinen answered. Just then the instructor came, calling for the class to start. So the four of them went inside.
