Top 10 Reasons why I'm going to replace the kittens with potatoes...
- Potatoes don't climb on my head and purr or push on my face at 4 or 5 am.
- Potatoes don't stink up a litter box.
- Potatoes don't expect me to feed them whenever I'm in the kitchen.
- As a matter of fact, I don't have to feed potatoes at all.
- I can go away for the weekend and don't have to worry about the potatoes being home alone.

Sad but true realizations...
I am coming to the conclusion that I will never have children. That I wasn't meant to have children. I don't have much for patience, and as I continue to age (we all do, don't we???) Just how pissed off I was yesterday afternoon. I got an alert on my credit report that I had a credit card with an $11,000+ balance on there. I had no idea what that could be, because I know it isn't mine, so I got one of the free annual reports (everyone should do this, by the way. Saturday was mine and Doug's 1 year anniversary. I can't believe that it has been a year already. It's craziness!! LOL It has been a very good year, though, and I'm extremely happy with him. Since I've moved (since about July or August, really) I've put on 20 pounds!! OMG!!! How did that happen??? Well, I *know* how it happened, but how did I let myself do that? URGH!! I'm back over the 200 mark again. I'm not very happy about that, either. I've been lazy and haven't been making the best food choices. So... it's back on track ( Read more... ) -

Well... Doug and I made the leap and adopted two kittens last night. They're really cute, little gray balls of fur! But they are still a bit boney. They have a lot of growing to do. Their tails are about as long as they are, and they are quite furry. We think they may end up being long haired cats. We named them after two characters on ( Read more... )
