It has been a yearly tradition with Kala and I to try to hit the McDonalds and fail, then go to the theater in Ventura and watch The Lord of the Rings very late in Christmas Eve. This time, because of delays, it was a bit later than normal - in fact, the last showing...10:15 for a 3 1/2 hour movie a good 45-minute drive away

The Hobbit is tied up on legal limbo from what I hear. Jackson will 'think' about it after he finished remaking King Kong (Yes he's really doing that).

Plus the film rights and distribution rights are owned by seperate uber movie companies, making it hard to make money, bleh.
