Paid another visit to Twister today to help a friend who's a ferrier (the one who found me Twister to buy) clip and shoe him. He did very well, only getting restless waiting for his hooves to get clipped and shod, outside of that he was just plain great! Because of my late night escapades last night I didn't get to sleep until 5:00am. Of course I woke two hours later with a hangover but after taking three aspirin and letting Ceilidh out (and back in again) I crawled back into the sack and slept until 10:00am. It's rained from just before midnight yesterday and it is still raining now. I don't think there was even one break in the rain at all. About the only good thing to come of this is that I wrote a short story and finished it. One should never endeavour to take on the responsibility of owning an AMC Eagle unless they have an extensive knowledge of mechanics (a batchelors degree in engineering should be fine :-), blacksmithing experience and the ability to think abstractly (bizarre is also a plus!) and a really good health care plan ( Read more... )
