The influx of cases due to the earthquake has finally quelled, and my house is fully back to normal- some contractors are coming tomorrow to fix my office window I kept calling the Chief Prosecutor and saying that I needed it fixed but he didn't know who I was, so it appears everything is back to normal- my insurance covered full repairs on my car ( Read more... )

One of the more irritating things about the area I live in is the annual Independence Day fireworks show.

I live nearby a river, which is normally quite nice- but in this case... the fireworks they shoot off over it are absurdly loud. Even in my study, with its thick, noise-canceling walls, the booming still hurts my ears and gives me a migraine ( Read more... )
