-Entry 5-

It occurs to me that there are probably those of you here who are incredibly concerned for my well-being since I have yet to post or contact anyone following the earthquake, so I determined this would be a good idea.

I am fine; apparently I spent around five hours unconscious on the floor of the Green Greens grocery store after a couple of hooligans assaulted me, taking advantage of the earthquake... but by the time I had revived, the danger had cleared and I was allowed to go home. My house itself was in alright condition, although the contents were rather askew- but most surprising when I returned was the presence of my wife Mildred and my daughter Cryden.

Apparently my mother-in-law's house was heavily damaged in the earthquake (Strange, seeing as how the eleven houses in between mine and hers were entirely untouched), and they planned to only return home long enough to collect their things to go to a hotel- but I took the opportunity to make a heartfelt apology (I begrudgingly thank you for your advice, Dr. Eldoon) and we made up, and so our family is together once more.

Currently I'm taking a quick break from tidying the mess with Cryden while Mildred works on the backlog of laundry, so I should probably get back to what I'm doing... although a small glass of brandy sounds good around now. Perhaps I should make this break go a little longer...

Either way, this should draw to a close. Hope everyone is alright.

...It did just occur to me I have yet to go to the parking garage I keep my Cresta at. I'll probably head there after this is done...

brandy, payne doesn't understand women, payne doesn't understand earthquakes, family, payne doesn't understand cleaning
