Okay. I swear I'm losing my mind. There's a TON of info missing from the Geology Lab computers and we can't figure out what in the hell's going on. I'm taking a break, though. Risa was a lot of fun! I got some sun, some rest, and a chance to think. I also had the chance to have a little memorial for Jeremy up by the cliffs and that did me a lot of good. He's gone, but I'll always remember him and that's what counts in the end, I suppose.

Thank heavens shore leave is upon us. I need...I need to get off of this ship. Every time I go down to the labs, I keep expecting Jeremy to be there, and then I remember he's gone. Back on duty, and the labs are normal again. Everything's been put into place and cleaned up...but I still can't stop thinking about Jeremy. It's hard to believe that I'm never going to see him again. I made a message to send to his mother, but what in the hell am I supposed to say to her? Jeremy died shoving me through the door. My geologists aren't laughing every time I come into the lab, which I count as a good sign. I'm still staying mostly in the my quarters during off time, though. I've been using the time to catch up on some of the 20th and 21st Century animes I haven't had a chance to watch yet. I'm almost all the way through "Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad". Tribbles. Of course it would be Tribbles. I hate the damned things and I had to fight my way through a small patch of them by Geo Lab 2. Everyone else is welcome to them but as for me, I will be happy to keep my lab a Tribble-free zone.
