Not too much of interest going on. My mom is coming to visit next week which I'm very excited about. Then I have a short trip home planned in May.

Hoping to have lots of visitors this summer, for the celebration and for random visits.

Claire's dad bought himself a Corvette Z06. What this means for us is that he needed to make room in the garage...so we inherited an amazing "new" stereo system. He shipped a 1980 Bang & Olufsen. It is probably the coolest thing I've ever owned. He is super anal, so we have all of the original boxes and manuals and everything. It's super sweet.

So I am charged with the task of making a mix cd for my kickball team. One that will be played during our games. Anyone have any good song suggestions? Inspirational songs for semi-competitive sports? I'm thinking hair metal and hip hop are probably the way to go...but I need some suggestions.

On my fourth of july vacation, I did a lot of fun things. After work on Tuesday, Claire and I went out for food and beer and then went to see You're Gonna Miss Me (the Roky Erickson documentary)which was really good.
