i guess you know me well
Busy times lately.
Kate was here visiting until last night and we are flying to Philly red-eye tomorrow for Rennie's wedding. We will be there until Sunday when my whole family is flying back with us to Portland for a week.
Had a great time during Kate's visit. Some highlights:
-introducing yet another fellow reader to the wonder that is Powell's
-showing off all those roses that give this city its nickname
-eating, eating, eating; I love a lady who can appreciate Burgerville AND King Burrito
-going to Washington...because its ten minutes away and stopping into a bar for a shot and then heading right back to Portland
The lowlight was mistakenly thinking Superbad opened on Friday night and gettig super pumped up for it and getting all the way to the theater only to be very disappointed.
Claire and I will be in Philly for a whirlwind fun time. We arrive Friday morning around 6 a.m. and depart Sunday night around 8 p.m. Most of our minutes are spoken for. Looking forward to:
-Rennie's wedding Friday night and open bar at The Standard Tap as the wedding afterparty and hanging at Megan's apartment as the after after party
-King Tut exhibit with the family
-breakfast and babies with Stephanie
-seeing the Mayor, Jason, Aaron
-record shopping?
-eating, eating, eating
Work is very good. I'm starting to do lots of work. I like it.
