"Hello, darling," she said, sneaking up behind Angelina. "Brought you a little pressie for organising us all so effectively," she said, holding one of the Pixies out.

"This was easy," she laughed. "All Dean and I had to do was tell people. I can't really take credit for doing anything much. Are you enjoying yourself so far?" She sipped more of the Purple Pixie.

"I am. Had a good conversation with Dean a bit ago. Growing up Muggle, I've always been curious about magical paintings and well, at least he seemed quite happy to talk about it," Alicia said, laughing. "You know how I can get. All the questions."
"How about yourself?"

Angelina laughed. "I'm sure he doesn't mind explaining his work and answering your questions. You're not annoying, Al," she said and jabbed her friend in the ribs with her elbow.
"I'm really good now that we're all here. I needed this break from the normal routine." She leaned closer to Alicia and whispered, "Where's your man?"

Besides, he didn't have anything else to do. But he had been surprised to find out that when he'd owled Joshua about going to the bar with him that Joshua had already heard about it--because of a bird.
At the bar, Liam ordered a pint of Guinness. "Who's the bird?" Liam asked his brother.

Liam ordered a pint, and Joshua ordered a vodka tonic. Liam asked him about 'the bird' who'd told him about the party tonight. He raised an eyebrow. "Who's the bird you were with at the Ball?"

But tonight, well, it gave her an evening free to head for Utopia. Angelina had said that a crew was heading there, and it sounded like fun. She changed out of her black trousers and white shirt, tossing her tie and waistcoat aside, and tugging on slim jeans and a bright blue jumper. Why not be comfortable? Low topped sneakers and a ponytail, and she was ready.
She tossed her purse and her wand into her woven handbag, then headed through the Floo.
"Glass of white," she said as she approached the bar, then turned, waving at Angelina and Alicia, dancing together. Oh, this was going to be fun.

"Hey Verity," she said. "How are you?" Ginny wasn't sure what Verity had been up to recently. She'd heard that she gotten a job, and Ginny had been glad to hear it. Verity had done so much to help George in such a trying time.

"How're you? How's the new job?"

She put her glass on a napkin and twirled it around and around, very slowly. "Work is okay. I get my arse handed to me a lot, but I'm the new girl, too, so I suppose it's expected. When I'm not being grilled, I file. All day." She rolled her eyes. "Real exciting stuff."

She looked up at him, happy to see there was no trace of bruising left around his eye. He seemed in a better frame of mind than he was earlier in the week but still seemed preoccupied.
"How are you doing, Stephen?" She smiled as she moved her hand to caress his face next to his eye. "I'm glad to see you're looking better."

Cho touched his face, and he closed his eyes. "I'm better because you healed me," he said. "Thank you again for that. It's as though it never happened." Of course, he knew it had happened because he still felt off with things.
He and Cho hadn't actually talked about it much, and he was thankful she hadn't pressed him that night. His head hadn't been clear enough to have a conversation with her about it. Not yet.

She looked around the pub which seemed to stay busy on Friday nights. "I'm glad you felt like coming out tonight." She was hoping a few hours of relaxation would be good for him.

Joshua drank his vodka tonic and watched Alicia dance a few songs with the girl from The Sweetshop. She moved well, and her obvious carefree attitude while dancing was a huge turn-on.
Finally, he walked over. "Mind if I cut in?" he asked.
The tall girl grinned and winked at him. "Not at all." She leaned over and whispered something to Alicia that Joshua couldn't hear, and then she walked off.
"Hey," he said and a slow grin tugged the corners of his mouth.

She slid her hands up to Joshua's shoulders and raised her eyebrows at how tall he was. "I'm a lot shorter in flat shoes," she said, laughing.

She laughed. "That you are," she teased.
