Stephen had mentioned to Liam that a group of friends were going to be getting together on Friday night at Utopia. He liked the bar, and he'd always enjoyed himself there.

Besides, he didn't have anything else to do. But he had been surprised to find out that when he'd owled Joshua about going to the bar with him that Joshua had already heard about it--because of a bird.

At the bar, Liam ordered a pint of Guinness. "Who's the bird?" Liam asked his brother.

Joshua glanced around. He saw Stephen talking to the same woman he'd seen his brother with at the Ball. He would go over and say hello in a bit. He recognized the girl from The Sweetshop, and that's when he spotted Alicia. He smiled and followed Liam to the bar.

Liam ordered a pint, and Joshua ordered a vodka tonic. Liam asked him about 'the bird' who'd told him about the party tonight. He raised an eyebrow. "Who's the bird you were with at the Ball?"

Liam took a gulp from his glass. "Which bird?" He smirked at his brother. Honestly, he immediately thought of Katie and winced. That had not gone well.

Joshua picked up his drink and turned around to face the room. He wondered if anyone would be up for a game of billiards later. He squeezed the slice of lime into his drink. "The one in the purple dress. Let's hear about that one."

Millie. For the first time in a while, he didn't much feel like talking about a bird, not even to Josh.

"Let's play darts," he said and he walked off, leaving Joshua to either follow him or find something else to do.
