She looked up at him, happy to see there was no trace of bruising left around his eye. He seemed in a better frame of mind than he was earlier in the week but still seemed preoccupied.
"How are you doing, Stephen?" She smiled as she moved her hand to caress his face next to his eye. "I'm glad to see you're looking better."

Cho touched his face, and he closed his eyes. "I'm better because you healed me," he said. "Thank you again for that. It's as though it never happened." Of course, he knew it had happened because he still felt off with things.
He and Cho hadn't actually talked about it much, and he was thankful she hadn't pressed him that night. His head hadn't been clear enough to have a conversation with her about it. Not yet.

She felt his lips against her hair and then shivered as his warm breath lingered near her ear. His quiet words had her nodding her head against his chest. She was quite content in his arms and felt the world melt away when they were together like this.
Her head moved only to better lean into his touch at the back of her neck. She moaned as his fingers rubbed a particularly sensitive area. That startled her into opening her eyes as she sheepishly smiled, "It does feel good." She grinned as she instinctively arched her neck for more contact with his hand. "If you get me too relaxed though, you may have to carry me home."

She moaned into his chest, and he could the vibrations of her voice against his skin. Was it so wrong that she turned him on so easily? Did all men feel this way about women? Is that why men became weak?
Cho's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. He smiled down at her. "I don't mind carrying you home," he said, his voice huskier than usual.

Cho ran her fingernails lightly along his neck before moving her hand to trace his jawline. "I really wish I were taller sometimes." She bit her lip at the realization she had said that aloud. She grinned as she explained, "You seem so far away from down here."

Her lips curved as she noticed he seemed as flustered as she felt. "Both sound good right now," she whispered, "but might be better in private." She had just realized the slow song was no longer playing, and they were barely moving on the dance floor to much faster music.

He wondered if he should order an ice cold water at the bar. Did that work the same way a cold shower did?
