Stephen and Cho had just walked onto the dance floor when a slow song began playing. She grinned as she placed her arms around his neck, "We couldn't have timed that any better."

She looked up at him, happy to see there was no trace of bruising left around his eye. He seemed in a better frame of mind than he was earlier in the week but still seemed preoccupied.

"How are you doing, Stephen?" She smiled as she moved her hand to caress his face next to his eye. "I'm glad to see you're looking better."

When Stephen and Cho reached the dance floor, the song changed, and he was thankful. He wasn't exactly a good dancer, and he definitely couldn't dance to the fast, bass-driven songs Utopia seemed to play so often.

Cho touched his face, and he closed his eyes. "I'm better because you healed me," he said. "Thank you again for that. It's as though it never happened." Of course, he knew it had happened because he still felt off with things.

He and Cho hadn't actually talked about it much, and he was thankful she hadn't pressed him that night. His head hadn't been clear enough to have a conversation with her about it. Not yet.

Stephen mentioned his injuries were better but didn't elaborate further on how he was doing. "I wish I could help with more than just your bruises, Stephen." She knew everything that had happened with the domestic violence case had been hard for him. She also knew he would talk when he was ready.

She looked around the pub which seemed to stay busy on Friday nights. "I'm glad you felt like coming out tonight." She was hoping a few hours of relaxation would be good for him.

Stephen smiled slowly and exhaled. He pulled Cho closer to him. "You calm me. Heal me in different ways." He rubbed his hands up her small back. She was warm against him, and his body responded to her closeness.

Stephen seemed to relax as he wrapped his arms around her. His hands felt good against her back and she snuggled in closer to him. "That feels good." She wasn't really paying attention to the music now but held onto him, following his lead. Her eyes were closed as she breathed in his scent. She felt incredibly warm from being in such close contact with him and she murmured against his chest, "You feel good."

Cho leaned in closer to him, and he slid one hand up her back and beneath her hair where he cupped her neck. He rubbed his fingers against the smooth skin of her neck. Her voice was quiet, but it sounded like she said he felt good. He kissed the top of her head, leaned down closer to her ear, and whispered, "Being with you like this feels good."

Stephen's hands kept moving over her back and then farther up to the nape of her neck. She tilted her head, allowing him better access as he rubbed her neck. Merlin, that felt good.

One of her hands had worked its way beneath his collar so she was able to also run her fingers along the back of his neck. It was times like this she wished she was taller, when she wanted to reach his neck with her lips.

She felt his lips against her hair and then shivered as his warm breath lingered near her ear. His quiet words had her nodding her head against his chest. She was quite content in his arms and felt the world melt away when they were together like this.

Her head moved only to better lean into his touch at the back of her neck. She moaned as his fingers rubbed a particularly sensitive area. That startled her into opening her eyes as she sheepishly smiled, "It does feel good." She grinned as she instinctively arched her neck for more contact with his hand. "If you get me too relaxed though, you may have to carry me home."

Cho's finger snaked around the collar of his shirt. He had the inappropriate urge to take her back to his flat. And do what Cornfoot? Like you have a clue. Why did that voice sound like Liam's?

She moaned into his chest, and he could the vibrations of her voice against his skin. Was it so wrong that she turned him on so easily? Did all men feel this way about women? Is that why men became weak?

Cho's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. He smiled down at her. "I don't mind carrying you home," he said, his voice huskier than usual.

She smiled at the thought of him carrying her. "That's good to know." Being with him like this, with the close contact and responsiveness, was exhilarating. She didn't know how he managed to make her feel so weak yet so alive at the same time.

Cho ran her fingernails lightly along his neck before moving her hand to trace his jawline. "I really wish I were taller sometimes." She bit her lip at the realization she had said that aloud. She grinned as she explained, "You seem so far away from down here."

Stephen felt heady desire for Cho. She dug her fingernails into his neck, and he wondered if anyone would care if they left. "I don't mind picking you up or sitting down," he said. Then he blushed furiously. Had he gone too far? Would she think he had overstepped the lines--wherever they might be. He'd never been down this road before, so he was clueless.

Cho became even more aroused as she allowed her mind to consider both his suggestions. If he picked her up, she would be eye level with him and able to kiss him wherever she liked. Sitting on his lap would allow her better exploration of him as well. Both ideas were ones she'd like to try.

Her lips curved as she noticed he seemed as flustered as she felt. "Both sound good right now," she whispered, "but might be better in private." She had just realized the slow song was no longer playing, and they were barely moving on the dance floor to much faster music.

Stephen nodded. "Something to drink?" he asked, noticing they were the only couple still slow dancing while everyone around them moved faster to the quickening beat.

He wondered if he should order an ice cold water at the bar. Did that work the same way a cold shower did?
