Kanda had told him not to come meet him off the plane when he got back from America, but it had been a week since he'd last seen the other man and so he'd gone anyway. He'd probably be berated for it - he really should be going to class today and not coming to meet Kanda - but he supposed he could live with that given that he did most of the rest of the time anyway ( ... )

Business class or not, thirteen hours in a closed space with his coworkers was pure torture. On the way to New York he'd found he was unable to sleep on the plane, and there was no difference coming back. Every time he'd finally managed to doze off something or someone made a noise and he woke up instantly ( ... )

He was sure that in the last five seconds his chances of being killed by a grumpy, sleep deprived, sword wielding Japanese man had risen considerably. Regardless, he didn't let go of Kanda or move back, nor did his grin fade. Instead, a chuckle fell from his lips and he kissed Kanda's cheek again, ignoring the looks sent in their direction by various people, including a couple of people who had come through the barriers with Kanda ( ... )

No doubt Lavi had caught the attention of his coworkers, not to mention half the airport with that little stunt, and suddenly he felt heat rising in his cheeks. He fought the blush with as much strength as he could, though a tiny little bit of pink stained his cheeks.

He was about to answer when Lavi turned him around and lips were suddenly against his. After all that had happened in the past week, this was more than enough of a welcome home, even though he'd told Lavi not to come. Far too tired to fight with Lavi over whether this was appropriate for such a public place - not that he could really say anything, since last time they'd been here he'd initiated it - he kissed back, sighing softly at the taste of coffee on Lavi's lips. So that was why Lavi was so wired.

Cloud had been glad the moment he could get up and get off the plane. Being unable to move for as long as he had, had brought his travel sickness on tenfold. The blonde had spent most of the ride with his head focussing on the seat infront of him, or facing the pan of a toilet. He really didn't like flying, and seeing solid ground, solid ground that marked he was home, he had to stop himself from dropping to his knees and kissing it.

Of course for most of the flight home, Cloud continued to deny that something was wrong with him when asked. Paling and turning green probably didn't help in convicing anyone.
So there he was, walking on shakey legs to grab his bags. Looking around and finding a wall he could use to support himself. Ignoring everyone around him. He just wanted to get home and curl up to Zack and bitch about his week away.

Cloud hadn't expected anyone to be there for him. He'd completely forgotten he'd told Zack where he was going and his flight times there and back. So to say he was surprised to hear his voice was an understatement. The blonde had only just managed not to jump and spin around. Heaving his bag over his shoulder and letting the strap settle, he turned his head to look at the older man. He was smiling, and trying to glare at the same time, ducking his head and with his free arm swatting Zack's hand.

"Barely. Uuh...eventful. Very eventful, but at the same time, boring as hell."

He was glad he knew how to pack lightly or else his shoulder would have been aching a lot more. Cloud smiled even more, quirking a brow and tilting his head a fraction.

"You actually came to see me?"

(ooc: Balthier takes offense to that.)

The entire week had been a nightmare. Things had started off bad with not being able to see Basch off. Then they'd had their first fight and the next day Basch had been in danger. Needless to say, Balthier had been a nervous wreck from the moment Basch had called to say they were boarding.

Thankfully though, the plane had landed safely and he was one of many that were hanging out in the waiting area, hoping to see loved ones get off the plane. It seemed that it took forever before the door to the gate opened and allowed the passengers to leave. He stood, heading over to wear the crowd of people had gathered to welcome friends and family back.

It didn't take him long at all to spot Basch. He pushed his way careful through the crowd until he could make his way over to the other man, wrapping him in a hug. Thank god, he'd made it home safely. "I was so worried," he murmured into his ear.

Basch almost didn't see Balthier until the other was hugging him. It was surely crowded in here. One arm came up to curl around the actor's waist, pulling him closer as he smiled. It was good to feel the other again, his warmth made all the stress of the past week wash away.

"It is good to be back..." Basch said, not able to keep the smile out of his words. Gently pulling Balthier back, he pressed in for a kiss that he'd wanted to feel for too long now. He honestly didn't know how he hadn't gone mad without it for the entire week, but things would be better now. Or so he hoped. He'd have to try his best to not let Balthier know who Cloud was... lest the blonde get an earful, or more, from his lover.

"Gods I missed you." he gasped, once their lips parted for air, not caring if anyone or everyone was watching. Let them watch.

The kiss had somehow magically made the awfulness of his week completely melt away, despite the late hour. "I missed you too," he replied, not entirely willing to let go of Basch yet. A breath of air later, his lips were back against the other man's as he worked as letting him know exactly how much he was missed.

A week was way too long to go without Basch. He had a feeling it was something he was going to have to get used to though. Both of their jobs had the potential for involving a lot of travel and it was a barrier they were going to have to work around.

A few days in America had told Kyo quite firmly that it was Not His Cup Of Tea. Of course, it had been a few days of running errands and getting coffee for people, so he might just have been bitter about that; all in all, he would really rather have just gone back to the vid room.

The trip had been interesting, at least, if embarrassing as hell at times. Kyo had been pleased to note that the flight home was somewhat more mundane, with the exception of Cloud being excruciatingly air sick, and Irvine spending half his time in a drunken haze and hitting on Kanda of all people. Kyo had expected violence, but was only rewarded with Irvine being shoved away and toppling head-over-heels over an empty seat nearby. It hadn't been nearly as entertaining as he'd expected ( ... )

Zelos had been in a mad rush that morning. Waking up many hours before he really should. Worrying over silly things, like what to wear when meeting him, how to have his hair, what if the plane was late? Or didn't...didn't make it at all? The thought had caused Zelos to stop in his tracks, no...no more of those thoughts ( ... )

He had barely looked up from his watch again when his bag was abruptly pulled out of his hand and dropped on the ground-- and the next thing he knew, he was pulled into a kiss.

Surprise gave way to amusement when he realised who it had to be, and when Zelos pulled back a moment later to rest their foreheads together, Kyo simply smiled fondly and lifted one hand to thread back into his hair gently. "I missed you too." Then a soft chuckle; "I'm okay, I promise. Nothing terrible happened to me in America."

Holding him by the shoulders, Zelos pulled back, giving him a questioning look. He had to look over him, just to make sure. He said nothing terrible had happened, but that meant something had happened, right? "Mn, alright, but I want you to tell me all about it later." His eyes narrowed, "I swear, if I find that Sephi-whatever even looked at you funny, I'll find some way to kiss his tall ass!"

The scowl left, quickly replaced by a bright smile as he tugged Kyo close to him and buried his face at the top of his head.

Tseng had definitely had enough of this traveling nonsense. There was so much stress and worry involved with it; but given the happenings he was glad to have been there, as he never would've forgiven himself had something unfixable happened and he hadn't been there to try and prevent it. For now though, he was just glad to be home...again.

He was contemplating on whether or not he should try and settle in; lest he be sent away again on another mission. He really didn't mind all that, when it came down to it. It was his job afterall.

The dark haired man was lost in thought as he filed off the plane in line with the other passengers, making his way to collect his cargo before starting his trek back home to get some much needed rest.

Dressed in her usual pink dress, adorned with a red cardigan and matching flats, Aerith rushed into the airport late. Skidding down the halls, weaving through people, and passing familiar faces-- she knew the plane had already landed.

"KYAAAH!" the flower girl picked up her pace, and skidded to an abrupt halt infront of the gate where she was told the plane's passengers would be released.

... And there was no Tseng.

Biting her lip, the brunette spun around. "Did he leave already..?" she frowned. No.. she would have seen him, at least. Hearing someone mention picking up luggage, she realized he was probably there was well. Taking a left and running down a bend, the brunette found the luaggage area.

And there he was.

"Tseng!" she called him (finally courageous enough to remove the -san from his name), waving excitedly-- her face smiling. "Welcome home!"

He had gathered his belongings; few as they were, and was beginning to move towards the exit to hail a taxi. That is, until his heard his name being called rather loudly from what sounded like from across the room. Blinking a few times, Tseng turned his head, not sure if he was correct in who he thought it to be; but that voice was unmistakable.

Taking a look over his shoulder, sure enough, in the color that suited her so well, was Aerith waving at him with crazed enthusiasm. Smiling weakly, Tseng sat down his suitcase and lifted his now free hand to wave back and considerably much more calmly. His other arm was bent at the elbow, supporting his jacket that was resting in the crook of his elbow. And in his hand, Tseng would be holding a small, yet long, and slender white box dawned with a pale pink ribbon around it. He had forgotten he was still holding it as he waved back at a smiling Aerith.

Feeling a sort of warm feeling at seeing him smile at her-- even though she knew he had to be exhausted. Most of the turks she passed in the airport seemed about ready to pass out on the floor if they weren't with companions.

Scurrying to him while being careful not to bump into anyone, Aerith immediately felt the impulse to embrace him. Perhaps to prove to her reeling mind he was really there. The past week had been terrible for her to endure, but she didn't have the heart to confess it to him. However, she held back her impulse, and only smiled wider to supress herself.

"You look tired," she giggled. "I was worried you'd fall asleep on your way home, ne!" Of course that was an upright lie, she really just wanted to see him as soon as he stepped foot on Japanese soil. Hesitating, she laughed shortly and shook her head as a clear blush came up on her cheeks.

"Well, really-- that was part of it," she admited. "I..." she looked up at him finally. "I missed you, Tseng."
