Zelos had been in a mad rush that morning. Waking up many hours before he really should. Worrying over silly things, like what to wear when meeting him, how to have his hair, what if the plane was late? Or didn't...didn't make it at all? The thought had caused Zelos to stop in his tracks, no...no more of those thoughts.

For some reason, he had always loved airports. Watching the planes land and take off, the mixture of people all around you. Seeing the destinations on the board, places you'd always wanted to go to. And seeing that Kyo's flight had landed, and was obviously safe, he was sure he went light-headed for a moment. Moving to the waiting area and looking around all the people like him. Waiting to see those that had been away. He wanted them to be there right now. Wanted to see Kyo, to hold him and bury his face against him. Just tell him he was happy to have him back.

It wasn't much longer until he saw the top of unmistakenable hair. Zelos grinned and made his way towards him. He reached out, grabbing Kyo's back and dumping it to the ground before he leaned in and kissed him.
Pressing his forehead to Kyo's, hands on each of his cheeks and he sigh. "I missed you you know."

He had barely looked up from his watch again when his bag was abruptly pulled out of his hand and dropped on the ground-- and the next thing he knew, he was pulled into a kiss.

Surprise gave way to amusement when he realised who it had to be, and when Zelos pulled back a moment later to rest their foreheads together, Kyo simply smiled fondly and lifted one hand to thread back into his hair gently. "I missed you too." Then a soft chuckle; "I'm okay, I promise. Nothing terrible happened to me in America."

Holding him by the shoulders, Zelos pulled back, giving him a questioning look. He had to look over him, just to make sure. He said nothing terrible had happened, but that meant something had happened, right? "Mn, alright, but I want you to tell me all about it later." His eyes narrowed, "I swear, if I find that Sephi-whatever even looked at you funny, I'll find some way to kiss his tall ass!"

The scowl left, quickly replaced by a bright smile as he tugged Kyo close to him and buried his face at the top of his head.

For a moment, Zelos held him back and looked him over as if he was checking for new injuries or something, and Kyo had to shake his head. "There's not much to tell really, it was pretty boring for the most part. But if you really want to know about the trip I'll tell you." He figured the other man was more looking for reassurance than anything else. "Ehh... and Sephiroth didn't do anything." And besides that; "...no kicking him."

Then he was pulled close again. Kyo smiled, letting his arms slide around Zelos to hug him gently. Apparently the redhead had been more worried about him than he'd realised. "Tadaima."

He was looking forward to listening to the story from New York. Of course he wanted to know. Though hearing that Sephiroth hadn't done anything, he couldn't help but look over at where he may be with a frown. Huffing and puffing his cheeks out as he was told there'd be no kicking, that wasn't fair.

"Mmn! I'm so glad you're home. I didn't realise how much I loved you until you were gone and I couldn't just get you over. And...you smell really good."

Of course he didn't want Zelos kicking Sephiroth; honestly, it would only end in them beating the hell out of each other again, and Kyo didn't want to have to deal with that. Though Zelos puffing his cheeks out like that made him chuckle.

"I smell good, huh?" An amused look, and Kyo kissed him lightly again. "I probably smell like airline peanuts."

"Well then, I happen to like the smell of airline peanuts. Hmm...especially if it comes from you."

Zelos tipped Kyo's head up and kissed him again. Applying more pressure than the last few kisses. His tongue ran along his bottom lip. Teeth gently nipping at the plump flesh. His hands slipped around his hips and pulled him closer.

Kyo would have replied to that, but Zelos was already kissing him again-- and he sighed softly when he was pulled closer, lips parting. For a long moment he completely forgot where they were, and slid one arm over Zelos' shoulder.

It wasn't like he was the only one forgetting himself, though, so he didn't feel quite so bad; still, after a minute he pulled back a bit, and sighed quietly. "I missed you..."

Zelos was losing himself in the kiss. God, he's missed those lips and the way Kyo kissed. Just barely biting back a pout, he smiled, running a hand through Kyo's hair, pulling it down to cup his cheek. "I've just thought of a great welcome home present."

A small playful smirk and quirk of the brow.

"Huh, unless you're too tired of course, then I'll just have to make you something to eat and tuck you in bed and give you a big old meal whilst you're all snuggled up." Zelos actually had to take a large gulp of air as he just got that all out in the one breath.

"Heh... why am I not surprised you're saying that?" Kyo couldn't help blushing faintly though, not used to talking about things like that in public places. "And anyway, would that be a present for me or for you?" It was asked with a faint grin, and he hooked a finger in between the top buttons on Zelos' shirt as he said it.

Chuckling then, he tugged lightly before stepping back a bit and leaning to gather his bag. "I hope your souvenir didn't break when you dropped my bag." It was said teasingly though; he didn't think it would have, but there was an off chance if the bag had fallen the wrong way.

"I'd say it was for both of us~! I mean, it's been a week for us, right?"

Zelos gasped, grinning widley and bouncing on his feet. "You got me something? Awww Kyo~~!" Again he leaned over and kissed his forehead. Reaching down, Zelos took Kyo's hand and swung them slowly.

Well, he couldn't really dispute that. It had been a week. An amused noise and one eye closed when Zelos leaned to kiss his forehead. Kyo shifted his bag to his good arm when he reached for his hand. "Of course I did. I don't know if you'll like it though... but I thought you might, so..."
